As Senior Legal and Compliance Manager, you will focus on B2B supplier licensing and regulatory requirements, ensuring that our business continues to grow compliantly across multiple jurisdictions. You will report directly to the Head of Legal & Compliance and work closely with senior management.
Responsibilities
• Lead and support all matters relating to B2B supplier licensing and regulatory compliance, including applications, renewals, audits, and ongoing obligations.
• Monitor and interpret evolving B2B iGaming supplier regulations across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring business readiness and timely implementation.
• Advise management and other departments on compliance obligations related to technical standards implementation.
• Maintain constructive, professional relationships with regulators, testing labs, and certification bodies, ensuring obligations are met on time and to a high standard.
• Collaborate with product, technology, commercial, and finance teams to ensure compliance requirements are embedded into business processes and documentation.
• Provide structured compliance reporting, frameworks, and governance procedures to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Contribute to broader legal and corporate governance matters as required.
Qualifications
• Qualified lawyer in Europe.
• Minimum 5+ years’ post-qualification experience, with a strong track record iniGaming compliance (experience from B2C acceptable if focused on non-operational, regulatory aspects such as licensing, certifications, or regulatory affairs).
• Knowledge of reputable regulatory frameworks, such as UK, Ontario, Malta, Sweden, etc.).
• Demonstrable experience managing regulatory licences, certification processes, and regulator engagement.
• Understanding of corporate governance and risk management in a highly regulated environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at senior level.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a pragmatic and solution-driven mindset.
• High ethical standards, ownership, and professional integrity.
• Self-driven and proactive, capable of working independently without reliance on micromanagement.
• A self-driven mentality with the confidence to drive your agenda rather than through micromanagement support and direction.
